Here are a few of our recommendations that are less than 30 minutes from RFECC by car.


Riyadh Park

This is one of Riyadh’s biggest, most comprehensive malls. Whatever you’re looking for, you’ll encounter many of the world’s most prestigious brands, a state-of-the-art cinema complex, and over 70 dining options.

Kingdom Center

Rising over 300 meters tall, this architectural marvel is an iconic part of Riyadh’s skyline. Start from the Sky Bridge, where you’ll enjoy breathtaking views of the city. Then head down to the mall for some high-end shopping. Once you’ve worked up an appetite, luxurious fine dining awaits at The Four Seasons.

Al Faisaliah Mall

You’ll find all of your favourite stores and brands inside this modern skyscraper. Make sure to have dinner at the “Globe” restaurant, located at the very top of the tower and offers panoramic views of Riyadh. We recommend making a reservation for sunset, when the whole city shines in golden hues.

Centria Mall

If you’re looking for sophistication and luxury, here’s where you can shop amongst the world’s prestigious designer brands. Just outside is trendy Tahlia Street. Relax over a cup of coffee or indulge in culinary delicacies with the city’s most stylish.


The Zone

A new development popular for its modern design, The Zone offers a range of dining options both indoors and outdoors. In good weather, it’s the perfect place to walk around and soak in the unique atmosphere, wonderful cuisine and friendly vibe.

Oud Square

In the heart of the capital’s Diplomatic Quarter, this stylish complex is home to premium restaurants, boutique coffee shops and stores featuring some of the world’s most luxurious brands.

The Boulevard

A modern galleria bringing together a vibrant selection of restaurants, coffee shops and recreation facilities. If you’re looking to have a social meal surrounded by Riyadh’s cosmopolitan locals, this is the place to be.

Boga Superfoods

The perfect choice for the health-conscious traveler, this local restaurant chain offers a range of guilt-free menu options that will recharge your body and mind.


The organic foods movement is thriving in Riyadh, and this is where you can indulge in the freshest sandwiches and salads knowing that every ingredient is all-natural.


VOX Cinemas

The latest Hollywood blockbusters are now showing just a few minutes from RFECC. This is the perfect place to unwind with your colleagues after a long day of events. Popcorn anyone?

Strike Bowling Alley

Bowling meets five-star hospitality at this Ritz Carlton venue. The lounge-inspired setting features billiards tables, six bowling lanes and a -100inch TV broadcasting major sporting events. Have a blast with your colleagues while nibbling on the American bar-inspired cuisine.


Taibah Markets

Taibah Markets is one of the oldest and most traditional souqs in the city. Here you can find everything including spices, fragrances, clothing and most famously – gold. Enjoy the creative jewelry displays and make sure to barter before buying.


Bujairi Heritage Park

Teeming with tradition and bustling with locals, this is the perfect place to immerse yourself in Saudi culture. Everything from the architecture to the landscaping reflects the ancient building style which makes the district famous. After a leisurely stroll, make sure to try the authentic Saudi cuisine served in Najd Village.


Welcome to one of the most historically significant districts in the Kingdom. Dating back to the 15th century, the beautifully preserved settlement is a triumph of Najdi architecture, which found ingenious ways to cope with the extreme desert climate. Al-Turaif was the original home of the Saudi Royal Family. Now, centuries later, it’s yours to explore.

Al Janadriyah Festival

Held in the month of February or March, this is Saudi Arabia’s national festival of heritage and culture. It’s when locals and visitors gather to celebrate everything Saudi for two weeks, and it never disappoints. Every region of the Kingdom has its own pavilion, offering a range of activities from sports (including camel racing), dancing, arts, falconry, and traditional handicrafts.

The National Museum of Saudi Arabia

Much more than an exhibition of antiquities – this museum lays out the story of Islam, Saudi Arabia and the Arabian Peninsula. Its 10 galleries take you on an immersive journey from the dawn of recorded history to the present day. You’ll even find a section that houses some of the belongings from the founding King of Saudi Arabia, including his prized car collection.

Saqr Al-Jazira Aviation Museum

Discover the evolution of aviation in Saudi Arabia in this stunning multimedia display featuring real airplanes. Many of the aircraft were previously employed by the Saudi Air Force, and they still have all of their weaponry and instrumentation intact. You’ll even find King Abdulaziz’s private Dakota airplane, a rare relic originally developed in the 1940’s
